Nice! I like it. Might have to think about this for our next toy. The wife and I hit Magazine Mountain and the other surrounding mountains here in Arkansas pretty hard during the spring, summer and fall. Even do some winter time rides in our Jeep. Been on some of the mountains on the trails in the snow past few years. Anyone who has never done trail riding in a jeep in the snow is missing out. Its a whole different world when its snowing.

Hi Forest, The scooters pretty fun lot different pace than riding the quad. Yeah we have done a couple of snow rides on the ATVs just local trail system, no mountains like in Arkansas. I imagine riding around in the Jeep on those hills would be pretty fun too. Thanks for checking out the video my friend!

Dang that thing is cool! I want one! Does it have reverse? If I didn't know better, I would've thought you were riding in Saskatchewan. The terrain, vegetation, roads and buildings all look the same. Awesome video buddy! Loved it! Thanx for taking us along!

Hey mornin buddy, Reverse, yes it has reverse. I know we’ve talked about it before Kansas and Saskatchewan pretty much flat farmland Yup! Thanks for checking out the video have a good one buddy!

Super awesome! It got up to 70 really quick! This was a nice little tour checking out Perry Lake. That seems to be the issue everywhere on water levels being low across the country. Not a bad lunch, a candy bar will do! It hits the spot. My only thought for the audio is maybe too much wind was hitting the mic? Nice first ride on the new machine.
@kcatv95562 жыл бұрын
Hey Buddy!, Yeah we had a lot of rain earlier in the year and then the Spicket just shut off. A lot of reservoirs are low for sure. Yeah wind noise might be causing the audio issue? I repositioned the mic for our other road trip and still had somewhat of an issue. May have to go with a totally different mic that would be able to handle the surrounding noise? Thanks for checking out the video my friend hope you have a good day!

The only thing I would change on my F-3S is the belt. It’s nice and all, but a shaft drive would be better for stone roads and lite off road adventure’s 😉. Other than that, I love my Spyder!!! Got it last November, it was a slightly used 2021 with 705 miles on it. The original owner traded it on an RT or something he and his wife/Girlfriend could tour on. I really like my Spyder. Turns heads everywhere I go. I’ve been ridding (Mostly 2 wheels) my whole life. My 1st bike was bigger than I was! It was a Cushman scooter. 😉

Helo Dj Project, Yes shaft drive would be nice wouldn’t have to worry about any belt adjustment. Sounds like you really have a nice machine with only 750 miles on it! This one is a 2015 with 14,000 on it. Picked this one up around March of this year it was a wrecked unit. I made all of the repairs myself saved a little money. We’ve been on three rides with it now having a good time! On our last ride it through a fault code for the yaw sensor. I’m really not surprised since it was a wrecked unit when we bought it. New Yaw sensor is $159 kind of pricey but I’ll install a new one and see what happens? Thanks for checking out the video nice to hear from a fellow spider rider!

Thanks for the FAST reply. My Spyder now has just over 2600 miles on it. Approaching the 1st service, I may change the oil and filter my self and let the dealer do the rest. Should save me a couple of bucks. You can tell that I ride quite a bit but not as much as ld like. I drive about 250 miles a day at work. So that don’t leave much me time during the week. My job is 10 to 12 hrs 5 days a week. I’m a driver for a company like UPS or Fed-X only much smaller. We’re all n 7 Midwest states. So kind of a big/little company. 😉

Great vid. I had a 2013 Spyder RS and now ride a 2016 F3T ( with manual shift ) that we love, and my wife rides a 2021 Ryker 900 ACE. I noticed in places in the vid that you let off the throttle a little when shifting up. It is better to just hold the throttle steady and let the computer blip the throttle for you ( momentarily cuts the engine rpm's for upshifts and revs momentarily for downshifts ) other wise the computer can get confused and the shifts are not as smooth. You can confirm this with your dealer.
@kcatv95562 жыл бұрын
Hi Arachnido, Oh yeah I figured that out after a couple of rides about not letting off the throttle when shifting. LOL it’s our first time owning Spyder. That’s cool you and your wife ride together. My wife and I trail ride four wheelers together but I don’t think I would trust her on the road on her own Spyder. Thanks for checking out the video and appreciate the comment!

How are these when taking a curve at highway speed? My quad sucks to take a paved curve at 55. How do these trikes compare?
@kcatv95562 жыл бұрын
Hi Ticepjs Yeah I know what you mean, my quad sucks at high-speed turns as well. This thing corners much better has a lot lower center of gravity and only sets about 4 or 5 inches off the ground. You still drive it like a quad though. Thanks for checking out the video!
