I love finding the little pieces and putting them in resin for Keychains.

It never gets old finding the little loose crinoid and brachiopod fossils. Could look for those all day long. Cool archimedes finds too. Nice spot!

I thought it was so cool that Jeff was just saying he wanted to find some like that and I did too! 😆

We were actually looking for pink calcite geodes but we never found quite the right spot so we decided to look for fossils and went close to where my friend told us to go but didn’t find that spot either 😂 whatever everything worked out. Thanks for watching!

Thats cool! I've always been fascinated by how the roads just cut straight through the hills here in Missouri.

the bryozoan net that Dustin found is part of a fenestella bryozoan colony and these guys like to form into bush-like formations.

Hey! Awesome fossils, especially the Archimedes screws! Those stalaktites are also very cool indeed. How interesting a simple road cut can be if you only try and take a look. 😊

I’m literally watching you break open a nodule as I write this! 😂 Great finds on the Yorkshire coast my friend! Making plans for another Trilobite hunt soon

After watching you guys at the road cut, I am now going to look at some of the road cuts on 67 that runs close by.

There’s fossil shark teeth in the area! Definitely a cool area to explore. Lots of geodes also

You guys got some nice finds! Reminds me a little of the material I collect in southwest Ohio, but still different.

By the way, I may try to come out to Haunted Ridge on Nov 4th for the Crystal Collector dig. I need to see how our schedule goes, but right now, I'm penciling it in. :)

Yeah I think it’s a very similar age. The Ohio/Kentucky fossils are a little bit nicer and larger overall but these are still cool

Ooh I hope you make it! I’ll have something special for you and Chris 👍🏻

These remind me a lot of some of the Paragon Formation / Glen Dean Limestone fossils from Kentucky. I wonder if the unit you guys are looking in is the Missouri equivalent. Awesome finds!

This is the Warsaw formation. I think it’s Ordovician and I agree! Brachiopods are VERY similar

Archimedes were awesome to see 👍. You had some real cool samples of Bryozoan that you completely ignored though 😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

Didn’t mean to ignore the bryozoans I just don’t know very much about them

Dustin I used to live in High Ridge. I remember some big road cuts on hwy 30 between High Ridge and House Springs. Have you checked those out?

I haven’t! Add it to the list 😆

The fossil at 1:00 reminds me of a Stromatoporoid.
