That submarine took the wrong path. How were pings for you guys on the Japanese server? I think I was 200 on Ronin for that match so can't imagine Japan server ping.

Could you explain what the flares actually do? I see them in my games all the time. It just to illuminate the area it’s in?

yeah they work like a UAV i guess, but limited time and its live in the sense of when it pops it shows where the enemy is within the flare. But doesn't show people moving around live, so if it pops above you it would pay to move somewhere not just sit there as anyone who checks their map on the other team can see exactly where you are. They latest update also changed it so recon also shows on flares and recon planes. they never use to. no idea if it doesnt show you if youre in a house as well though.

Comp match is all about field control. You can only push if there is an opening. You push frontlane if you can. It's mostly tanks and arty who allow you to move forward. it's extremly hard to flank as they cover the whole area. Some sectors are more important than others as they give you a good angle of view to cover others sectors. That's why you will rarely see more than 1 or 2 squads (squads of 3 people in comp) on the PF, otherwise you leave another sector exposed.

Depends on the players and match but they’re probably getting over 30 kills and up to 100ish depending on match length, map, and infantry role

I can tell none of these pro players ever played a match of world of tanks. Why they driving around the corner with their entire side exposed. SIDESCRAPE IT. Just messing but I love using those strats to dominate as a tanker. Seems most players don’t really know about stuff like that

They do but in hell let loose it’s not that useful, you take 2 or 1 shot to die, depending what tank you’re in and the gunner moves so slow that if you’re just doing that there’s no accuracy really. The gunners gonna be looking all around while the tanks moving and imo it’s better to take a clean accurate shot instead of hoping on getting a ricochet.

I can tell you're not a pro player in HLL. side scraping (Side strafing isn't a thing?) does nothing in this game. Heavy tanks will always pen side armour no matter the angle.

Unfortunately there isn't a 'proper' Armour penetration system in the Game, the last 'proper' update to Armour was almost 3 years ago and that was mostly changing hitboxes and such. There are a few positions on certain tanks that you can try and use to bounce shots i.e. Tigers cheekpiece, but mostly it's just better to sit behind a solid object, turn the turret to the right or left and just peak. There have been multiple times Black Matter and/or T17 were gonna redo Armour but the people driving it were either kicked to the curb or issues with the game came up and was placed on the back burner. @halGuy
