NICE HUNT! Love that chain, you really scored on that. I've beach hunted since 2011 and ive found tons of rings and chains but nothing as nice as that one. I think you found a formerly low spot where coins got pushed into. I can't imagine someone having a pocketful of coins like that. And, an oldtime very successful beach hunter one told me if you find an area like that, bump the sensitivity up, and really pound that area looking for sinkers because you’ll find gold where you find sinkers.

The close up of the gold medal went so quickly but I think it was Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Patron of Mexico. I’ve been pricing gold chains and between your chain and medal, that has to be worth over $500. Gold prices are very high. The sunrise scenes of the pier and waves were mesmerizing. Surfers have to be some of the bravest people to go out there that early in the morning. 🦈 All the orcas have been acting up lately, too. 🤣 Buddy is still the best cat on the Internet with those gorgeous green eyes. 🐈‍⬛

I found a nice 10k chain in a tot lot that you had went to on a trip through yakima a few months back. I thought maybe bill left me this nice present for being a dedicated viewer for all those years. 😂 on a separate note I found a nice silver cross and chain today at my local playground that I hit regularly.
