I was having trouble reliably cutting leather with the masking tape approach - it would often peel up and ruin the cut (and get masking tape jammed in the machine). However I just tried your technique and it works beautifully. Far quicker and 100% reliable with less mess. These rolls of adhesive are also the perfect size for the machine. Thank you for sharing the idea.

Think I would just cut a small piece of leather and do some snips and there is the earrings. Cleaner and easier to do but this would be great to do for a larger project.

Brilliant idea! Have you tried with any other items. Paper? Fabric? What a great way of saving your mats. My next question is, what if you put the faux leather upside down instead?
@journalingmoore2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much….Yes I have used it on fabric.If you put the leather down instead the Circuit blade will have a hard time cutting the leather….It cuts better on the smooth surface

I have seen others cut faux leather and it is good side down so you don't get the fuzzy on the mat & you mirror it before cutting.
@journalingmoore Жыл бұрын
I don’t do it that way because the blade will get all of the fuzzy on it. Thank you though 😊
