I can see why you'd think they were called trucks. in the UK, the front wheels of a locomotive (that aren't powered) are called a "Pony-Truck". think the front 4 wheels of a 4-6-2 pacific. so you aren't "technically" wrong, but yes, on rolling stock, they are called Bogies.

It would be really fun to have a shoot out on the two trains...so you have an engineer in each train as well as a soldier. The soldiers try to take out the opposing team's train while the engineer drives the train and makes repairs if need be....you would rig small explosives at key parts of the train, tack on a few more carts so the train is longer, and go.

@ScrapMan *IT'S NOT A CABOOSE* The car at the end of the train is a car like any other. It's only called a caboose when it's a special car that contains a lookout and a person (I forget what they're called).
