Is was always taught when doing reharmonization that the melody is king. You can choose extension (i.e. 9, 11, 13), or variation (b, or #) and make that the melody of any chord.

Wow 😳 I’m in heaven right now. You’re a real teacher Bro. Man I wish you lived in Philly I wouldn’t care what you charge for lessons

That silent night piece you did I tried it I did CM to a Dm13 (DADFABE) to a Cadd9/E to the Bb13#11 to the Bb/D7 to G/B7 to C9 to E7#5#9 to FM9 and that’s as far as I got. I couldn’t do that before until I saw this tutorial. Thank you 🙏 Sir

I didn't know I could play these already, when I was learning the scales I thought I was not learning anything. But now I can play any chord or any major minor and blues scales in a scale. All I need now is to make the connections and improve on speed. Thanks for this lesson. Many KZbin teachers would not teach this for free. Thanks man. I'm not saying it should be free but it's helping out poor guys like me! I'd you can afford it please subscribe to him! Thanks again.

So you chose to reharm the E melody with the Bb#4 add 13...... could you have chosen to make it the b9 as well? Making it Eb7b9??? Is the concept that you can make the note a tension or diatonic based on what sounds good ??

What influences your choices the most? Do you have any online courses?
@RobPSound5 жыл бұрын
@@passionformusic4291 I don't have an online course just yet but its coming! I'm mostly influenced by the moment... depending on the setting... I just try to learn as many chords as possible because once I've gotten it, I can better reason with what sounds best at that moment.. your ear will be your guide..
