oh 100%, the amount of "unavoidable" damage is extremely low, and usually it is a build issue.

i think the only time that i felt like i took unavoidable damage was on the corrupted version of the twins. Even then it was only unavoidable because I was offered no movement/freeze items

I LOVE this game. Incredible depth of move sets. Incredible balance. NG+ (ascensions) is meaning-full and difficult. Sound is great. Easy to pick up. Hard to master. Best of all? Turn based - but feels light weight. The game design here is on a razors edge. INCREDIBLE

Oh I remember playing the browser version. Lovely to see how far its come. The gameplay was always solid and now its fleshed out and they have some beautiful pixel art.

My first couple of runs were absolutely awful. I still don’t know what I should have done differently, but this game left with the feeling that I didn’t see the answer, not that it wasn’t there.

At 22:58, is there a play Reto could make to avoid being shot by the archer? My initial thought was to 1) remove the dash 2) initiate the bleed to kill the melee enemies 3) add the dash, Archer readies the shot 4) initiate the dash to dodge the arrow 5) turn around 6) ready punch 7) punch and kill I’m not sure on the timing of when the archer would prepare the arrow, or if the next wave will spawn before it dies. If feel like planning out the enemies reactions was the most difficult thing for me to grasp on my first two runs, but as always watching Reto helped me understand most of the concepts I didn’t immediately grasp.

Really like the game hopefully they fix all the bugs on the Xbox build which is where I play it but it’s great despite that They have now fixed the issue
