Nice fish and great day. Can you please tell me what you feel are the accurate ratings of the Moongazer, both moving baits and bottom contact? I have the Lightning Strike and it's wildly over rated. I also have the Black Raven Extreme, which is listed as a MH, but it's definitely more like a medium. Much appreciated 👍

Thank you sir. The Moongazer to me feels like a real MH. It’s a pretty versatile rod, which these rods are built that way. But I mainly use the moongazer for bottom contact. I’ve use it to throw spinnerbaits and chatterbaits too which it does really well. The Lighting Strike is definitely a very unique rod. The lure rating on it is crazy. It has a very soft tip but so much backbone.

Yeah. The water is actually pretty clear for Badin. I went back and viewed it in slow motion and it did look pretty big. He was swimming right towards me. I was trying to keep up with him and then when he jumped, he threw the frog.
