Top favorites - 1. The slitting of anarkali neck and inserting a matching panel on the chest area (amazing idea to save and redesign expensive clothes worn only a couple of times). Second favorite, slitting sleeves into tulip shapes just looks so pretty and is so practical for people who have gained weight in the arms (like me). Third favorite, getting side panels stitched on an existing suit to increase the size, redesign and add elements of another favorite outfit. I will try the tulip idea and the cutting out of the neck area to an old but only once worn silk suit :) ... I love your practical ideas. Thanks for sharing.

I love your all ideas. 1. Tulip sleeve, if we attach laces, then it will give grand look. 2. Attach different fabric for the side of the kurta or in squares for tight kurta. Then it really look very beautiful.

You have really inspired me to reuse old clothes. I have used mom's old saree to make gown from the tailor and it turned out really amazing. Everyone liked it. Now I am using shawl to make a blouse from the tailor. Among all tips for reusing tight Kurtis I liked adding flare on sides for Aline kurtis with extra matching fabric is the best, next is increasing neckline with an extra printed or embroidered fabric isn nice and the last is converting tight sleeves into tulip cut sleeves

All the Ideas are fantastic but my personal favourites are: 1) inserting Fabrics in the sides of A line kurta to make it a Flary kurta. 2) Changing collar neckline of kurta by getting a deep neck on it. 3) Stitching the border a little higher than the border to give layering effect. All tips are excellent but have to choose 3 so… 1)Tulip sleeves because sleeves will remain long but will be comfortable. 2) joining cloth at aides when kurta becomes tight at stomach and bust areas. 3) deep neck and adding cloth to increase bust area.

Nice reuse ideas! The top three I liked are: 1. Inverted V design in blouse alteration - giving fresh look to the existing blouse 2. Insertion of second layer inside a top - asymmetrical top design - more room for creativity in terms of selecting another layer, same or different color/texture etc 3. Altering kurta by adding complementary garment pieces on both sides - again gives fresh look to the existing piece.

Tip 1 - extending sholder part you can do it even if the dress is loose to give a little uniqueness. Tip 2 - V neck (much needed for me) Tip 3- adding net or similar fabricfor extending length of a dress

Sleeves wala 1 no hai because ye bahut jyada use ho sakta hai specially blouse ke case mein ya short sleeves mein. 2 blouse ko choli style mein beech se v cut wala bhi mere liye useful hai aur 3 anarkali ka neck variation change karke inner stuff add karna.....
