Funny how back in Azteca is when they seemed interested in duo-schools(at least for mobs) which is when I thought they'd introduce gear for us to duo school. It's been 8 years since then, but hey at least it's here

They should make school fusion, not duo schools tbh. Like in the story they'd let us select a 2nd school to master, and that school will give us spells to convert the current ones we have. Like fires would be able to use ice bird but also enchant it instead of it being a TC or a gear card. It will make things very interesting that way and add way more spells while not requiring a lot of effort into creating spells. I mean, we went from fighting malistare with dragons and giants, to karamelle spells LOL. I think school fusion would bring back some attention to the old spells

Prof Pack has always been my favorite pack because a drop is guaranteed-whether it’s your school or not though is a different story.

these bubbles seem OP but again bubbles are subject to being changed by your enemy and it costs you double the pips to put it up, so as strong as these bubbles seem, they're not the hardest to counter or remove from play.

I guess the bubbles are very strong but keep in mind they are 4-pips tbh. A 4 pip bubble being countered by a 2 pip bubble can be a huge tempo loss.

Coming from a mainly F2P PvE standpoint, I feel as if they're stepping over boundaries now for the PvE side. Taking Death into example, why farm Merciless Death Cap, when you can buy the Dworgyn's Hood; you save time, only spend a couple of bucks, and you're losing a Virulence for a Mass Feint. I'm personally not big into PvP, but I love to watch it and see all the different tactics, but it feels concerning when it feels as if they're now trying to force F2P PvE players hands into buying packs now too. Which I understand is how they make money, but it feels heavily predatory with this one.

@@Louis13XIII Merciless Gear is spread out between several different bosses. You have a hard chance of actual getting your school, etc. Packs seem easier because you're not doing anything.

Other thing about the life bubble is that it severely punishes you if you leave it up in a way that is exponential beyond just a) letting them have bubble and b) the extra pip cost of your opponent because their heals are just dumb under that.

yes the prof hoard pack before this one always gave a piece of gear, which is how it should be. I loved this pack while leveling I could always get gear for level 70 then 80-90 to make those worlds easier, so making sure a minimum of 1 gear is a thing, it would make the packs less annoying to gamble with

I'm a returning player (stopped end of mirage) and having the best stats for both PvP and PvE locked behind a paywall really rubs me the wrong way. While crowns gear has historically been better than farmed/crafted gear below 60, having the top stats for PvE always requiring farming the latest or previous expansions dungeon for drops felt right and was a good equilizer in the game. But now that whales can just spend $ to buy best in slot stats for max level wiz's it's frankly insulting I feel if this makes it to live. Additionally KI Devs keep going on about how they want to reward more effort/hours put into the game, well this is vastly in contrast to that messaging. Also player retention will suffer, as whales will now have extra time to burn themselves out of PvP or whatever end game content of the game they are playing since they don't need to farm merciless gear anymore.

"No PvP" MCs trigger in pvp. All the kroger jewel MCs are no pvp (including D-Lance). All no pvp means is you can't pull it if it's in your main deck and you're doing pvp.

Grey rose in the clutch lol. One use only spell. Should help deal with pierce enchant and base pierce . I like balance four pip hit all. wish they made that a spell I thin the boots and hat is mostly pve. The wands is pvp and robe

They should make may cast less random but more expect. Like may cast every 7 or ten rounds. Like a boss. Better to may cast every 10 round for pvp and 7 rounds for pve or for pve make choose like pet spells in deckathelon.

Ngl I have negative thoughts on the gear in these packs. Just feels like they put little thought into it and knew it would be easy to get the people who care about ranked pvp to buy it. Just my opinion though.

To be fair the gear was originally a pack a couple years ago. They just updated the stats and cards to the way the game is heading towards

@@adammorin2955 Even that makes it feel even more lack luster in creativity. Same design to the gear mushed together with stats of gear that is already in the game. Only difference is the item cards which people are going to be inclined to buy because it will give them that edge. Just a pack for some item cards and the riddance of "School only" gear. I'm not a fan. :/

its not the final product ffs its fucking TEST REALM and even so the first day of test realm. ratbeard literally said himself most things are gonna change in terms of stats, items, cards, drops etc, they were just making sure the system works properly or something

To be fair for life, almost every other schools have pets that can give bubble (except life death and balance) so its a nice way to give them a bubble and I know it's a stronger bubble bit it's also a more expensive in pips compared to the pets and you also have to use allot of crown for that
