Bass pro is a pain in the ass to deal with in my opinion. I bought a sun tracker this year and it’s been a hassle. If I could rewind I would have not done business with them

I hate that happened and I’ve been doing business with them for years. I’m not sure which location you go to but try a different one cause not all are the same. If want also call basecamp (corporate) express your displeasure but know this they are working on correcting all the old issues even are going to start offering a different financing and service options.

San Antonio location. They made sure to let me know that they get paid hourly so I had to work with their schedule, a month later I have my sun tracker 20ft fishing barge (paid for cash)3rd time out motor dies. I take it to a Mercury authorized dealer and I am told by the mechanic that it is a simple fix, but bass pro has not done their due diligence and registered the motor under my name yet. This made something that should’ve been simple into a stressful time wasting experience.

@moondog5553 I really hate to hear you had those issues. I would for sure call basecamp to report that because you nor anyone else shouldn’t have to deal with any of those issues or headaches.

Look like the Leeds, AL Bass Pro. I have been taking my boat there since my local dealer customer service turned horrible. I have had nothing but a great experience from the manager, mechanics and the two wonderful ladies in the parts department. Great people to deal with!!!

@larrythreatt8166 yea their service department is great. Now that Sean the Sales Manager Is over the boat center side things have gotten a lot better. He will do all he can to help you there.

U know a lot of people rag nitro but u do save a lot of money and they might not be my first choice but I would fish out of one no problem. They are just at a 70mph boat too nice enough for me. And u can probably save like 30 grand. The top boats are 100k or more loaded now

I love my nitro. I tried a Caymas CX20 Pro last year and quickly switched back and went with the Z21 XL the overall performance, storage, and way it takes waves is great. Also none of that chime walking just quick out the hole and smooth on the water.
