Major props for your skills; but a few suggestions for your videos. 1). Your verbal introductions to each shot go on at length, but the shot demonstration is over in the blink of an eye. Why not show each shot a couple of times, maybe different angles or in slo-mo? Give us a chance to actually see what you talked about in such detail. 2). Show the shots from the shooter’s point of view; 3). Clean the clutter in the room to make the video more visually appealing.

You play well young man, However you would play alot better if you would shim them pockets up! lol, wow them things are what 5 inches? Shim them to 4.25 or 4.5 even and you'll get dialed in, when you go to the pool room the pockets will look like buckets.....keep on keeping on!

Just bought pocket reducers yesterday! Reducing by 40%
@OO-ll8ge6 жыл бұрын
Nice, they aren't much fun at first, you will definitely get dialed in with reducers, just don't get irritated in the beginning and remove them, It takes a week or two to get used to the size change, just hang in there and keep hitting the balls, when you take them out, you'll look like Efrin !

Consider us fractions to describe where to hit the ball, as in the side pocket point shot, e.g. it's a 1/2 ball hit, 1/4 ball hit, etc, with the caveat that all rail bumpers are not the same, so test the table pre-game if possible.
@rmo42226 жыл бұрын
you have to practice it to get feel where to hit the ball into the cushion, just can't say 1/2 ball hit depending on the angle, speed, and English on the cue ball. Basically he shows and impossible shot that can be made if practiced and understand the principles behind it.

ney m8, see that? thats the problem. Every "professional" pool player is like that. The thing im pointing out is that theres no need to have an overpriced pool table to have fun. say what you want about me. Also it feels like people dont understand what im saying.
@BackSeatHump6 жыл бұрын
I understand what you are saying ..... you are saying that it hurts your ego if someone else has an opinion. You have replied twice over a simple comment I made that wasn't even negative in nature. What makes you think you are the one to decide what "fun" is and what it isn't? This video is about the game of pool and how careful attention and skill can improve someone's game. But you're going to lecture us on what "fun" is. You are a dead weight who probably hasn't had "fun" in years.
@Sharpless26 жыл бұрын
someone "else" ? bitch please lmao. still not getting it. But if my ego is so fragile and im that much of a dead weight like youre stating(HA THANKS FOR THE ATTENTION... u know what im talking about.) , why do you even reply. Wouldnt it be mature of a professional pool player thats so experienced to just ingnore a fragile person? You find fun in that dont ya. And again im not deciding whats fun and what isnt but i should probably stop wasting my time trying to explain what seems impossible to understand hehe.

I've been a way above average pool shooter for almost 50 years but can't figure out what makes the cue ball jump when you strike down on it. Enlighten me please! :-)Stan
@rmo42226 жыл бұрын
when you strike down on the top 1/3 or less cue ball it drives it into the table and caused it to bounce. even had the cue elevated and hit hard shot and the cue ball bounce down the table? It's an art that has to be practiced, too weak it don't bounce, too hard and it bounces off the table.
@StanWilhite6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your reply! Just seems as tho there's nothing there "spongey" enough to get a rebound. I know it does what it does, just seems physically impossible. :-) Thanks again! Stan
@charlesdavis63716 жыл бұрын
Stan, if you drop a cue ball from table height onto a solid surface it will bounce - yes?

Just seems as though there's not enough distance between the ball and the slate to create enough speed/inertia. I get it though.....just odd.

+Timothy Paulino honestly, I would be there forever. I explained that these shots are not 100% shots. It saves my time to cut it at the explanation instead of explaining over and over until I make it. Sometimes I make it right after I cut the video. Most of the time it takes 3-8 attempts. I'm sure you understand
@TrillionTalents7777 жыл бұрын
That’s stupid - the point is not to make it on your first try. The point is knowledge and understanding the shot. Who wants to see a failed shot attempt 100 times?
@bikingslopez6 жыл бұрын
Timothy Paulino the point is to teach you where to hit it not to watch him fail till he finally shows where it should be hit. Its a hot to make difficult shots video not a “how to attempt difficult shots till you perfect it” the perfecting is for you to do my guy.

Even Simonis is not that expensive. I covered my first table back in '71 at 11 years old. It is not that difficult. Needs to work on vocabulary as well. Also I hear statements about what shot you are going to take and why, but no actual descriptions of how to cue the ball, with what level of force, and what the interplay at contact is. Much less a second camera at the moment of the stroke that looks at the contact moment. The whole idea of post shot cue ball control is about the difference between pocketing a ball, and pocketing that same ball in that same place, but having the cue ball walk over to a specific location for your next shot. So the bank shot off of the rail point does not come up often and is a set up shot. More often in real life, it is stuck on that point and one is not able to get the hit to make your bank and has to shoot the cue ball to the end rail and reverse back to the ball to put it in right where it sits. I do that all the time and it is even more accurate. Folks thought the cloth looks bad, but I think your instructional monologue needs work, starting with your vocabulary. And no, it was not all billiard realm jargon.
