- '95 was JUST before my time as a fan, so I can't 100% confirm this, but from the footage I've been able to gather, I believe the beginning of the Dallas series is when they changed the goal horn at the Joe.
- The Wings outscored the Sharks 24-6. The Sharks never had a lead in any of the 4 games.
- Grimson's goal against Chicago was the only goal he scored in 80 total games as a Red Wing.
- Konstantinov's OT winner was his first career playoff goal.
- Despite defeating Chicago in 5 games, the Wings only led in a game two times during the entire series.
- The SCF appearance was the first for the Wings in 29 years.
- '95 was the first of 4 straight 20+ point playoff years for Fedorov.

I always shake my head when I hear people say detroit got revenge on san jose that year for the prior year. The team was not the same.. Had what only half the players the team had just a year prior? Team was in turmoil lots of internal drama, players openly speaking up about what was going on. Irbe was coming off that huge injury in the off season from the dog injury which fractured his hand, severed a artery, and left him with nerve damage, which derailed his career for the next 2 seasons. Dunno how you go from having the OV line being the dominate force it was in those playoffs a year prior, to just being like hey.. we dont need some of these guys.. And are other role players so to speak, lets trade them all too. Funny thing too was although there was a lot of drama between constantine and larionov and its almost like janney was brought in to try to give larionov less power so to speak, it obviousy didnt work out. And constantine would later say Larionov was the best player her ever coached. I guess ego got involved sadly in the team.
