This song was very trip-hop and electronic. This and the title-track was totally different to the rest of the album (since this album was pop and RnB, but this and the title track was the songs who i didn't consider a RnB track).

Such a great song! Hypnotic is a great term for it. Also, it transitions flawlessly into the title track “Bedtime Story”. Glad you enjoyed it. It’s one of my favorites as well.

Great insight and reaction. Sanctuary like BTS album were undeservedly underrated by the pop music world because of the backlash from her Justify My Love/Erotica/Sex book. In retrospective, this song and album are masterpieces in the arc of her artistic journey. This song makes me realize that in our own journey in life, we need a sanctuary be it a person, a place, or an inner spiritual strength to wither the tough times and rough spots that come our way. Really appreciate you covering the artistry of Madonna.
