24.20 it should be for public subnet you have done IGW for private subnet always IGW for public subnet for private subnet it should be nat gateway

putty can be used to do from windows machine. Please make sure you create ppk from pem key.. i don't have video on that i guess.. plz feel free to refer other videos to know about putty and its working
