AWS re:Invent 2020: Multi-Region deployment - Part 2: Architectural best practices

Many companies running on AWS have requirements to build multi-Region failover into their workloads. This presents challenges, like how to manage infrastructure deployment and updates, data replication, and object replication. In this session, you learn architectural best practices for building multi-Region failover and redundancy into your workloads. The session walks through the architecture of several publicly available reference implementations, such as the Multi-Region Application Architecture, which makes use of Amazon CloudFront, AWS Amplify, and Amazon Cognito to deliver a fault-tolerant application from a primary Region with easy failover into a backup Region.
