Hi Chetan. First of all thank you for this wonderful explanation. Just wanted to know the difference between instance store and EBS

Instance store is local to the instance and comes with few specific instance types only. The data in instance store is wiped if you stop the instance. So its best used for temporary (/tmp) filesystem. Benefit is that it comes free with EC2. EBS is external disk and data is persisted irrespective of EC2 instance running status. You pay for EBS size.
