Canada for instance is twenty times that of Ghana but has 10 provinces and three territories and population is bigger than Ghana. Besides, dividing the country creates more divisions among the tribes. Left to me, Oti will be part of Volta, Ahafo with Asante, one Bono, Western North with Western and Savanna with Upper East. Also creating a region with different tribes but used one tribe name for it makes the other tribes feel not been part or feel been overshadowed. For instance, part of Bono who are part of Asanteman don’t feel belonging to Asanteman, but if the name was Akanman, trust me, it would have been different. This is my opinion though.
