@@Lastkid0nEarth Is it the RAI dub you're talking about? 4kids is not the canon dub to the original show. Also I might have switched up the two intelligence's. I think Darcy is likely intelligent in the normal way, while Icy is much more of a problem solver and manipulator. As I believe one of the winx club books talks about Icy constantly manipulating Darcy and Stormy. Though in the original dub (RAI and Italian) Icy was in fact the smartest of the 3. She was always the one to solve the puzzle or problem and was always the one surviving in a fight and outsmarting the winx while Darcy often gets outsmarted and defeated rather quickly. At least as of Season 3. Also, the Feather wasn't the logical answer, she chose the feather in an attempt to outsmart and out think the puzzle, as the other weight was a rock. So that is NOT logical. She even said "That would be too easy" and chose the feather instead. Icy however, was succesful at outsmarting the puzzle as she chose the moral path. The end justifies the means. Which is also not a logical answer, but it's a very emotionally intelligent answer, much more than Darcy's. So, in short. Darcy is intelligent but often predicts situations wrong. She tries to outsmart people which often works against her. She's much more of a book worm I feel like, that doesn't make her smarter than Icy. Icy is an intelligent strategist. She knows when someone is trying to trick her and knows how other people think. Even though Darcy is smarter book and learning wise, Icy seems to be far better at magic and much more of a professional. As she calls herself "The top witch" in S3 and neither Stormy nor Darcy deny it. Because she is. She has the most experience, most skill, most BIQ, thinks like others/emotional intelligence but doesn't have empathy towards others. Something Darcy does. Also Darcy trying to manipulate Riven wasn't well executed. She love bombed him and then ditched him really quickly. She barely got any info out of him at all. Icy seems to be much better at reading people (like Valtor, she calls him out on avoiding conflict against Bloom and both Stormy and Darcy think that's ridiculous, when we know Valtor is in fact kind of scared to face bloom, as she can actually hurt him. Icy is also the one to figure out how to open the Omega portal while Darcy and Stormy just stand around. I would argue Icy is smarter overal, but since the S8 book says Darcy is smarter in the learning/normal way while Icy is smarter in the BIQ and Manipulation way I guess I can't argue. However the S8 book is likely talking about S8, which I would absolutely love to ignore as I only accept S1-3.) S8 Icy does seem quite dumber than S1-3. Icy in S1 was the mastermind. They likely nerfed her intelligence to make Darcy stand out as in S1-2 she's mostly ignored and Stormy and Icy often take the spotlight instead. So my point stands. S1-3 = Icy > Darcy > Stormy (intelligence wise) S5-8 = Icy = Darcy > Stormy (intelligence wise)

@@StephDilimia I've yet to read the book. I based mostly of her being a book worm and getting out of detection by outsmarting the detention person . And in season 3 when flora gets her Enchantix was when icy called her a scholar. I do know that icy EQ is high she handles situations better. As for the riven issue she read his mind she actually got whatever she needed they communicated by telepathy he would tell about the whereabouts of the Winx so they Trix could put their plans into execution. he just became useless as they weren't gonna need him in conquering magix.

Not true. In s8 each witch has a shining moment. They each find a prime star. Darcy finds a prime star, she attacks Musa and Riven by herself and she also plays a major role in finding the compass, using her magic and intelligence more than Icy and Stormy on that occasion. Stormy also finds a prime star (basically being the star of the episode) and she even proves to be the best dancer of the series, alongside Aisha/Layla. Icy finds a prime star and she even gets a redemption arch and a background story. Of course Icy has more screen time, because she is the leader of the Trix, but Darcy and Stormy have a distinct role even in the latest season.

@@icydelight3693 you're right. Besides, in s1 her illusions and manipulations made Riven was their puppet, who reported Darcy about everything they should know. She also felt that someone watched them in s1ep2, and knew Winx appear in the forest was only Mirtha's illusion. It shows that thanks to her power she's the smartest. Her magic was the most useful in s2 when Trix followed Winx in the land where magic was strongly limited. What's the shame that people forget about how amazing charakter is she.

I know right, I think that there's actually good in Darcy. She saved Riven's life and she used her powers to heal him. I can change her for the better, teach her to stop using her powers for evil and start using her powers for good! Help her right all the wrongs she did, make amends to everyone she hurt, help her transfer from Cloud Tower to Alfea, help her make amends with the Winx, become friends with them, and have her become a member of the Winx Club!

They are not evil...they are diabolical !

She has this gothic, dark, nerdy style and that's what makes her beautiful. Seeing her turn into a Winx that wears a shiny glittering tacky outfit would be her death. She is so cool, I don't wanna see her become unbearably sweet, shiny and sparkly. She is the polar opposite of that. She could retain her amazing witch powers, her awesome style (which is laid back and cool, not tacky an overdone like most Winx's outfits) and also become good. Mrs Griffin is a witch and yet she is good.
