Love the ambient sounds in the Axe 3. One of my initial favorite stock presets, Crystal Echoes I believe, really had me interested in how these are put together. This tutorial covers a great deal in getting there. Thanks again for the content.

Wow. It takes most folks a bit to wrap their head around series and parallel mixing but I see you grabbed all the right controls at the right time, reading my mind, almost. For shifts, your 12 would be 1200 on an Eventide. Some of my favorite shifts are -12 and -24. If you stay away from +12s altogether, it should create an ambient string section. My question is on your Axe, your input is instrument level. Can it receive line level signals? That thing is so capable, I could only imagine, yes. I see a bottleneck at the Apollo Twin, you want more I/O to send your DAW audio tracks out on separate channels, which the Axe could then route separately within. This parallel method also allows you to use your distorted signal, from any amp as a parallel, retaining its original character. Perhaps another mixer in front of the Twin could allow this. Most folks use them but an expanded interface would make it easy easy. KZbin is dropping the ball today. No notification. No subscription notifications, and no comment notifications. I started to feel left out without my daily hang w/Leon and checked up on you. There you are, great video Rockstar.

Yeah YT took ages to process this really weird. The III has 4 independent inputs and outputs and can handle line level easily. It's right up there with the Eventides in terms of fx and it has the best amp sims money can buy. Well worth the investment.

Depends on how hard you push them. Drive and power amp distortion push it a bit harder
