Axe Sharpening Workshop - GB Wildlife Hatchet Fully Restored

Today I gave my Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet a full restoration. From reprofiling the bit to honing the edge to a mirror finish, it was easy and inexpensive with a small selection of supplies and a few tools.
I have a strong passion for quality tools. The design and ergonomics of the Wildlife Hatchet has made it my favorite peice of kit. It was time I gave a little back to a tool that has never let me down.

Thanks so much, Shane. Glad I could share a few tips. A friend of mine says that I'm smarter than I look. I guess that's a compliment? Those Husqvarna axes are supposed to be made by Hults Bruk. Darned good steel. Which one you got?

@@WestForkWoodsman lol I’ve been told the same thing Kev and I’m taking it as a compliment either way! I picked up the 26” axe a couple years back. They call it a multi purpose axe and it’s been a good one for sure. Holds a really nice edge. Thank you my friend and keep those videos coming!

Those are nice hatchets, but I am not familiar with the brand name. Must be a North West thing.
