Both pitchers are very good and it seems the umpire was generous (with both teams) of calling the outside pitch a strike. The umpire was very consistent though

Lindsey W I’m not sure if you know but hitting it is pretty hard. If you are actually playing sometimes it’s hard and sometimes it’s not. Not everybody is perfect and if you were playing you’d probably be struggling but how would I know? I’m not sure if you play softball or not but it’s pretty difficult if you haven’t noticed.

yes i played softball for majority of my life up to college ball. its pretty easy to keep your eye on the ball and swing and make contact, instead of just standing there hoping the ump will call a ball when its right down in the strike zone.

See the ball hit the ball pitchers jobs are to try to get you to HIT the ball or STRIKE you out not to walk you and you have to adjust to umps some are picky some not so much the were taking there eye off the ball it looked like they were looking at the third base coach A LOT DISCLAIMER I'm not trying to be rude just trying to help

I had to replay the ending a whole bunch of times. That's the same thing that happened on my championship game and we all ran out to our teammate who scored the winning run. I miss softball ughhh :(

middletown was hitting the ball but MW just couldn't seem to get it out of the infeild. If MW put the ball in play more they would've won. the middletown pitcher's riseball was deadly and I can see why they were striking out, I understand how hard it is to hit. Both teams played amazing defense the outfielders were insane and saved SOOOO many runs on both teams. Very evenly matched teams but middletown was the better team that day

to anyone saying swing the bat, the Middleton pitcher was throwing rise balls. as a batter, they’re so tricky to hit because they come into the zone but rise and it looks like it’s not in the zone, but it is. so it’s very tricky.
