Para ser honesto, la versión que Dio hizo en On Stage 1976 en vivo es muy, muy superior en términos de potencia, control y mantenimiento de notas largas en legato, Dio incluso sostuvo un C5 en voz de pecho completo al final durante 13 segundos, nada se compara. a eso en términos de perfección vocal.

rainbow was heavy metal when Dio was with them...but ritchie dont like the mythical lyrics of dungeons n dragon(written in some documentary) so when Dio departed Rainbow become mellows...n now ritchie playing folk songs with his wife...

I agree with you about the distintion of Rainbow as a Hard Rock band and not a metal band. Some people also call led zeppelin and deep purple as heavy metal bands =S However the heavy metal is also defined for the tempo, guitar heaviness,way of the singer sings, and the style that goes beyond the blues. another incredible axel's song (true, cover, but this cover is like diffrent song, it is very far from the root of original ) which they do not play .....why???? In my opinion this song has one of the greatest song's end in the rock/metal music history. But we can not hear it live. I wooul by ticket juost to hear one this song , especialyy the end :DD it a big stadium :))

this is Rainbow on stage version, most people here did a Rainbow cover because DIO was the frontman of Rainbow and not The Yardbirds, bit if you mean the original cover they did back in 75 it was an instrumental piece
