Brilliant electronic musician l started listen to Jarre since 1979 my favorite musician and l did went to Dallas in 2018 and attended his contract so amazing Coachella Opening

this is awesome! I feel that JMJ's Coachella Opening melody is one of his strongest themes to date (powerful, intense yet still very "Jarre") - but this remix injectsca little more oomph to an already epic sounding track - nice job! by the way, did you utilize any audio stems for this remix? it sounds clear each part...

Thanks for your comments Yannaki ... I 100% agree with you regarding this track and here, as with all my Jarre covers & remixes, I have tried to inject a little more energy... it's just what I do :-) This remix simply used the original released track from JMJ (I would have loved to have had the STEMs) and I then added several new layers/parts myself plus a lot of post-production editing to get the clarity you noted... I appreciate your comment on this point as it is easy to over-look such things ! Anyway glad you enjoyed this remix and thanks again for your feedback. Best Regards, Axel.

How are the setup? The drums, for example, all the sounds is from JD-XA?

Thanks for the comment Sergio - the JD-XA was used to create all the extra synth and piano parts, the drums (from memory - this was nearly 18 months ago) were mostly samples. The JD-XA can create drum sounds, but they are (as you would expect) very analog sounding. I may have also used the JDXi to create some of the drum samples. Best Regards, Axel.

@@AxelsoftMusic Yah, the JDXi has the beat kit that the JDXA lacks. I've always thought the latter was better, but being able to use Xi's kit to sample via your keyboard, makes it a real handful. I've got the XA and I'll never let it go. I haven't bought the Xi yet for fear of redundancy, but it's a temptation for drums...
