The oil is about 100cs of silicone oil.

Awesome looking CJ and great video! Are you running stock shock oil or no oil? Very bouncy and tipsy, but I understand it’s more realistic for slowed down footage. Just curious

A lot of these scale guys commonly run the shocks dry, higher spring rate and add weight to the body and chassis to get this realistic effect.

@@cloudserph I kind of had an idea that was the case, running them dry or very light oils in them. It looks great for scale realism but suffers in real performance. Thank you for the info and response!
