Axialfest ‘24 @ the Badlands! Cj7 Renegade

Was an awesome experience! Trails for days! Unfortunately for the cj7, I made it 1/4 of the first trail and fell out of tree obstacle. Probably the highest obstacle out there. Right were the video ends is where the cj fell. Snapped the rear link end. I had extras back at camp and got it fixed. I decided to do more trailing with the scx6 honcho and save the cj7 for the night run.

There were hundreds of people there. I got lucky or trimmed it just right to have a trail to myself. Not sure how that happened.

Loved seeing the CJ on a trail. What driver figure did you use?

They are 8” figures from the battle ready series of the anchorman. Champ Kind and Brian Fantana. I had to do some leg surgery for them to fit properly. Thanks for watching!

Were people running non axial rigs on the trails?

You can’t run anything non axial on the trails. I didn’t see anyone running any other brands except in the campgrounds outside of the axialfest. It says in their event description, axial brand only so you might as well just leave your other trucks at home.
