Tony Ferguson has never fought a boring fight. He’s also on a 12 fight win streak against some of the toughest competitors out there, defeating Pettis just 5 months after tearing his ACL off the bone. If that doesn’t tell you how driven and terrifying the willpower of Tony Ferguson is, then nothing will. I think Khabib is amazing but If you think Khabib is invincible then I don’t see why you’d ever want watch another one of his fights because there’s no point, you already “know” the outcome. But Tony is the number one contender for their weight class and was scheduled to fight Khabib 4 times... I think it’s clear that the people want to see that fight. 3. Henry Cejudo just beat the greatest Batam weight fighter in contemporary mixed martial arts in 30 seconds without even using his Olympic-gold-winning-level skill. Cejudo beating Dillashaw at 135 would also make him a simultaneous two weight division champion. You can talk about height all you want. I’m 6’2 and Henry Cejudo is quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters. Between his gold medal and the possibility of becoming a two division champion, that level of skill demands respect. If we disregard someone’s skills based on their height, Bruce Lee would’ve never became an world renowned martial arts icon because he was only 5’7.
