I wish they would add in technology rolls. Infantry that cost only a dollar is sweet. My favorite is Fighters defending on fives and bombers rolling three dice for damage (Nukes)

I am still confused when it says, for example 3/4 or 1/4 for remaining moves of an airplane. Can you clarify?

@@MarkMoore-k4e the fraction refers to the number of remaining moves versus the total moves for the plane. So "3/4" means if the plane survives combat, it can move 3 more times (out of the 4 total moves for a plane). This is especially important to keep track of in battles like pearl harbor, which will force you to move an aircraft carrier in range to give surviving fighters a landing spot if they don't have enough moves left to safely land. Hope that helps.

@@Cobra-2177 It def does, I did a British reverse Pearl Harbor on round one since I had a plane survive in Egypt. Then I chose to lose the aircraft carrier. Thanks, since I lost 1 more unit and didn't know which plane to take the hit. EDIT: thanks again, plane made it back to India and won the encounter -30 to -54

You should know that every time you say that attacking fighters are garbage, some of the audience replies "Buy more bombers, then."

A genuine disadvantage... but a defensive build limits your options, and bombers (within reason) open your options up. Worth looking at how often in a game you rely on your air units for defense, and how often you rely on them for attack. If a fighter spends multiple turns attacking but never really defends or contributes to deterring a viable attack, it should have been a bomber.

On Germany round 7 you were counting VC wrong. He was not in position to snipe. Phillipines only would have brought him to 9. France was UK, and if you take it back he goes down to 7, then USA retaking only puts him back at 8 and Phillipines made 9.

Attacking Fighters really are hot garbage. Seems that they miss at an extremely high rate during the most critical 1st dice roll, then more ‘normal’ variance for the rest of the rolls in any given battle.
