Twins give you redundancy. The 400 is a little faster. 1-2knots. But the twins are quicker. 400 less weight, less money, less maintenance. But twins give you a little better tracking and the ability to maneuver better at slow speeds. Offshore the twins give you an option if you lose an engine. Fuel burn is very comparable with both options.
