The first time I saw Sammy was the 5150 tour in Los Angeles. Poison were putting flyers on cars for their gig in Hollywood in the parking lot, we drove right by them. They flyer every car in the parking lot.

In 2011 Bret Michael's hooked up my Best friend Adonia. I had bought lawn seats for us at Pine Knob in Clarkston, Michigan. I looked down the hill across the parking lot and saw motley crue bus and Bret Michael's bus. Long story short we were kinda broke from paying her bills, and medications. I got a thought being it was the anniversary of my Moms death that day June 29th the year before. She always said " it never hurts to ask celebrate the yeses and the No's" so I walked up and knocked on the tour bus door ironically his assistants names was Chuck (my diseased hubby's name) anyway Bret wasn't on the bus so Chuck took my info to ask Bret to meet & greet my BFF photo op or whatever to cheer her up (4th stage colon cancer) we just got done with brutal treatment. Music cheered her up and we love Poisan growing up in the 70's and 80's . She also had Bret on her bucket list to meet. Anyways after giving info to his assistant, I turned around closed my eyes and said a prayer, opened my eyes and Bret came jogging up lol I kid you not. He was sweet and very down to earth, walked me on the bus to talk about my friend Adonia. Everything he said he'd do he did and then some that night for her. They even took pictures for me and emailed them to me. She died August 29th, 2017 after a long battle. Her in memory of has her picture with Bret on her Facebook. Bret is a sweetheart I will always Love him for what he did for her that night. Being her caregiver I needed to see that joy and fun she had, I suffered watching her suffer, we lost a good one.
