Yeah I’ve seen a lot of people complain the irons are terrible on most guns, but of course they are they’re not designed to be looked down.

the newer seasons ones are pretty decent, especially the pic rail mounted ones as they seem to be loosely based off MBUS's or other real world designs, but the older ones are awful, which is to be expected really.

Probably they gonna fleshed out the custom animations for FPP camera for each weapons. and also fix the miscellaneous animations such as sprinting, jumping, and dual wielding animations as what in their official fortnite blog post.
