Yes, originally it’s an indian song, I think had been sung by legendary rafi sahib, Ahmad Zahir himself was a fan of him, but What made the song more effective was the depth of the lyrics in Farsi. Urdo is sweet & all, but Farsi is not just a language, but philosophy,therefore this song will always be remembered as “Ahmad Zahir”. Lets be honest meghan has nailed it too in her own style. Absolutely 3 epic versions!

If i have the lyrics and i can catch the pronunciation, which i generally do, i sing it... Meghan is a lovely amazing singer.. i learnt about her from instagram... she is beautiful singer and has done it really beautifully..
