Ay Tjoe Christine｜10th Anniversary｜West Bund Art & Design

Ota Fine Arts unveiled its new Shanghai space on the Bund with a grand solo exhibition by Indonesian artist Ay Tjoe Christine, showing a series of works inspired by the phenomenon of Tardigrades (i.e. water bears) turning into Cryptobiosis (a metabolic state) under extreme conditions. The artist hopes viewers can expand their way of thinking, extend and broaden the spatial boundaries, and draw information from water bears.
