Hey there, I'm still alive. Fewer horses, more work. Since I've been doing many 1min clips lately, I wanted to do something longer, which turned out to be this clip. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand King covers. The differences between the covers are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of musical theory most of the different tones will go over a typical listener's head. There's also Noel's grotesque parody, which is a symbol for her characterisation as an Idol that talks rather than sings. The members understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these covers, to realise that it not just an easy song- it says something deep about idol culture. As a consequence people who dislike KING covers in their feed truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the musical talent required in Noel's phenomenal delivery of "Lefto saido, raighto saido," which itself is a cryptic reference to an eldritch language long forgotten by mankind. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as to what im trying to achieve by listening to KING covers everyday on repeat. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a KING cover myself. And no, you cannot listen to it. It's for the ladies' ears only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within the 5 people that have read my bachelor thesis on KING Arthur's musicial taste beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

EDIT: Now that I look back at it I think I was just being stupid and didn't see the sarcasm. Happens to the best of us :/ Jesus buddy that sounds quite pretencious. Personally, I don't like listening to King too much, or else the song stales for me. This goes for any song, if I listen to it on loop I get tired of it very quickly. I'd rather throw it in a playlist and hear it once in a while to feel a mild surprise when I hear it!

Sorry in advance my Nakirium providing friend if this is not the way to ask this but I recently saw a community post from one of those mashup channels about stopping the use of Ayame's songs per her specific request, this channel used a LiveTL during this stream as proof and will direct his/her future actions based on this statement. She has always been reserved about the use of her content but I feel we are missing a part of the picture. Did she talk about the song mashups of all Holopro talents singing a song or more about the song weekly/monthly rankings? Let's take for example a "Hololive sings Homura" mashup, i love those and I feel that without Ayame it would miss something so I think that basing the future of your channel on a sentence from a LiveTL is kinda rushed. Any insight?

She talked about several things. First, reusing her cover videos for stuff like 1 hour loop - this adds no creativity and should not be done as it's just reuploading. Second, mixing her singing with other members like [several members sing this song] - she doesn't want people to compareor fight in the comments.
