nope, in volume 0 the instructor stated that impossible for another WR kid to beat Kiyotaka. the gap between them was too far. kiyotaka blessed with perfect memories since born and has insane adaptability. He will learn every single enemy technique and surpass them no matter how good they are. I also used to think that but after the island test...I realized he is not as super genius as we think... He is just different & mysterious...And ayanokoji never said anything about not being able to manipulate him... He simply said he doesn’t understand him... In the island test, he would have lost if ayano didn’t intervened with nagumo by accident.... Nagumo would have destroyed koenji in the last minute... He could have done it from the beginning but he didn’t want to drag the attention that the student president council is hoarding points... So he planned to do it in the last minute... Nagumo isn’t kiriyama...his plan would have worked and it would have most likely pushed koenji out of the leaderboard because he was the only one in his team.. But koenji wasn’t able to deduce that and he just kept on going through the test like everything was normal.. In Y2v4.5....Kiriyuin was able to deduce that nagumo would have easily won while stating his plan...And ayanokoji agreed with her. I believe he almost has the best endurance & physical strength in the whole school but in Intelligence... Guys like Sakayanagi,Yagami, Ichika, Nagumo, Ryen will easily defeat him because they can communicate & manipulate others better... And his other feats where the Vip test & figuring out that Ayano was X But Ryen basically did the exact same thing... he was able to realize that unlike horikita, there was a character pulling the strings in class D...even when others where telling him he was wrong. And figured it was Ayanokoji...of course ayanokoji let him do that...but unlike Ryen, koenji is actually in ayano’s class... And ayano has praised Ryen for being able to see through others better than most people🤷‍♂️ So he could have done it if he was in Koenji’s situation. And Ryen was able to figure out the vip of his group through kushida... What i am saying is that Koenji is very mysterious that is why we all thought he would be better than the others... But after the island test...he would be lower than the others unfortunately... He is still arguably my 2nd/3rd favorite character though🔥🔥💯 And also ayanokoji is a very unreliable narrator, He always downplays his strength everytime.. I don’t know if you remember but there was a time he actually said that he can’t compete with sudo in strength....😅😅 What a lie😂😂 Koenji is just someone that just want to enjoy himself and go through less stress....(that is why i love him though)

I really reflect with Koenji.. I'm not saying I'm very smart but I believe I get by somehow and oftentimes excel at many things. While some of my peers are busy really going at the top and would do anything, even slander someone on their path. I think I'm just lucky that no matter how many times they say stuff at me or sabotage my accomplishments, they just can't because I often do things well. Tbh I really hate a world where people often drag each other so they could reach the summit of excellence. But tbh they're just depleting that summit, being at the top but putting it so low, that it's just a fragment or a perversion of what it used to be. I believe true excellence is by building what makes it excellent and putting it above than it used to. Also, making sure that the path to excellence is not halted, but also encouraged for people to reach the peak as you do or possibly more than you could. I also believe that Accomplishments are not meant to just be accredited to someone or something. I believe that accomplishments are just milestones in a journey of progress which would lead to wonderful discoveries and experiences.

Ngl, kinda L. Yagami Takuya got way better intelligence feats and combat feats(blitzed Ichika, who's subsonic, or basically many times faster than Usain Bolt). Shiba makes shockwaves (340 M/s or higher required) and Tsukishiro is on the level of Shiba in combat. Damn, even Hosen was able to smash the tennis ball so hard, it flew as fast as a bullet. Ibuki was able to leave a dent in a steel elevator. Like Koenji, actually got no combat feats above a lot of characters, only pure strength against most. Wrong concept. Its their reaction that subsonic. Their speed is still below Usain Bolt. Ayanokoji himself said there is many other that surpass him around the world. Even if we assume he break the world record, His teacher wont take this feat lightly. This conclude that his speed is somewehere achievable

Also you can't take Koenji's deduction skill lightly (atleast imo he is better than Arisu). He was able to recognize mastermind behind class D with pure observation only, solving mental arithmatic as fast as Ayanokoji, solving zodiac exam without any connection. Not to meniton his physical trait that exceed everyone in the school even Ayanokoji himself. He only lacking in term of combat skill (debatable), academic skill, and social skill.

I made a theory about koenji and ayanokoji's relationship. If u read y2 volume 11 then there subaki asked a question about having a brother to ayonokoji . So I believe that subaki somehow knew that ayano have a brother and I think he is non other than koenji bcz koenji kinda know very much about ayano which should not be known by the outsider's (people who doesn't belong to white room) and moreover he has a very much potential like ayano and the only one whom ayano couldn't understand till now. I am telling you guys in year 3 both horikita and koenji will have a big role in defeating ayano and their will be a specific volume for koenji same as white room volume. What u guys think about my theory

When i watch the 1st season i know that Koenji is different, the thing is Koenji feels like he just wanted to do what he wanted same like Ayanokouji but with different style. Ayanokouji want to live a normal life while Koenji want to be free. Ayanokouji is the type of introvert Asian while Koenji feels like extrovert European guy. And i still disaggree that Koenji is on the same level or higher with Ayanokouji. It's clearly a differrnt statement where Ayanokouji is a brain beast because which genius could be looked normal as him? People that notice Ayanokouji's ability is only people with actual genius brain or people that close to him while the other think like Ayanokouji is the type of person that could be remembered or forgotten when they are talking about their past on the reunite meeting.

Ayanokoji admitted he couldn't manipulate Koenji , but he's referring to manipulating him to benefit Class D. However, if Ayanokoji needed to confront Koenji for a different goal, one that doesn't require manipulation, I would back Ayanokoji. It's like a saying Ayanokoji can't manipulate Sakayanagi, he doesn't need to... He uses other ways to beat people like that if it aligns with his goals. If Koenji got in the way of Ayanokoji , Koenji would get destroyed. Koenji isn't really getting involved at the moment so Ayanokoji can just continue to act like Koenji is an outlier.
