I know you value YOUR religion rather than any other but in reality that doest make yours any special! Just ask any native English people (not Indians) are they religious or not., you will get your answer. I think as per the survey in 2012 seventy percentage of uk citizens considered as non religious or atheist.

Hi, I listened to the whole video and wanted to write about a few things you mentioned. Firstly I completely agree about the food and the weather. Yes it’s boring. The second thing was about the toilet paper issue. I came to the UK 12 years ago and I really appreciated the use of toilet paper. The reasons for that is when we use water (with a mug) we are bound to use our hands to clean. Obviously it’s much better to use a toilet paper to wipe than dirtying your hands. Because we say we don’t handle food with our left hand but we do, most people do. If you think it’s too rough on your skin you can get softer toilet papers. Another tip is to wet the toilet paper a little bit and then use it. When we use water to clean our private parts not a lot of people know that it should be dried up too. If not there a high chance of getting fungal infection especially ladies. Back home we just wash and wear our underwear on top of it and it remains humid and is prone to fungal infections. The other thing was about flushes. A lot of houses in the UK and Ireland are more than 100 years old, or built after the war. These houses will have the old type toilets that don’t fill real quick. Keep in mind these toilets must have been there even before we knew about European toilets. New houses have flushes which will fill up in seconds. Also the concept of dry toilets in the UK is due to the fact that the houses here are not completely buit of stone and concrete like back home. Most if it is plastering, insulation and wood. If there is water on the floor it will drain into the walls and will damage the house and will encourage the growth of mould. The other thing was about over politeness. There is nothing like over politeness. If someone smiles at you and you smile back does that not brighten your day? It’s because in our culture we are not taught to appreciate and apologise properly. There is a lot of ignorance in our culture. I am not saying theirs is the best or that ours is the worst. We both have our best and worst cultural habits. Have your ever seen anyone open a door for a lady back home? Or giving up a seat for ladies or elderly ? They may not mean it when they say how are you etc. if you don’t respond they will consider it as being ignorant. And it’s part of their culture and I think it’s beautiful. No offence here but if you love their Euros ( saw in a comment ) I think you should try and appreciate their culture too. Adapting and respecting another country’s culture when we live there is something we malayalis fail to do. Also if someone called you paki, for your information it’s an offence and you can call the police for that because it comes under public order racism act. They are not ignorant ( some people are, but not all) They know a lot about our culture and our country. But not all people will know this. Maybe you haven’t met anyone who knows these. This is only for your information and not a hate comment. I appreciate your videos and I wish you good luck with the future videos.

Interesting video. Here are certain things that I really hate in Ireland. 1. A lot of shops close too early in Ireland. Like 5.30 or 6PM... Even the police department can be a bit strange. They are the friendliest in the world. But I went to a garda (Police) station one evening to report a theft, and no one came out for 40 minutes. 2. Govt institutions are really difficult to reach. It could be a lot simpler. I know India is not much better but it's a lot easier there I think. 3. Bank services are not the best. In some banks, we need to make appointments. Most transactions that are done out of banking hours won't be completed until the next working day, even if they are done online. 4. The road safety authority that conducts driving tests is a money making mafia. It's very difficult to pass driving test in a lot of centres. You need to be very lucky to pass within the first three attempts. 5. The cars are cheap enough. But if you want to buy a car, the insurance amount is unbelievbly high, especially when you are a first time driver. 6. No law to regulate young, underage individuals who engage in criminal activities. The terror they cause in some areas is really bad. 7. Healthcare system is too complicated and inefficient. The waiting lists are too long. Treatment quality is not the best either (I work in the health sector). It needs a lot of improvement. You had mentioned this before. 8. As you mentioned earlier, owning or renting property is getting harder.

Totally agree with food. No variety. You will learn how many variety of food Irish can make with potato. Lack of vegetables. Coming from Canada where every type of international food is available even in the smallest cities, we felt it very strange. The weather. I will take Canadian winter any time over Irish winter. Cold rain with blistering wind will straight go to your bones. Summer is beautiful in Canada. Cost of living is so high in Ireland. If you are in a small village, practically no activities for children. My nephews children when they visit Canada from Ireland, they don't want to go back😅😅
