It is well known that when K. Asif enquired about the play back voice for the scene depicting Tansen singing , Naushad Saheb replied that there was only one living Tansen-Khan Saheb Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, but he abhors Films and film music. But K.Asif didn’t relent and sent Naushad Saheb to BGA Saheb’s house substantial money.As expected, BGAK dodged. But Naushad insisted and BGAK said “ acha mein pachees hazaar lunga. Naushad immediately took out the amount and gave it. So the living Tansen was trapped and lent his voice as playback of two scenes-one depicting celebrations on return of Saleem and the other scene depicting Saleem and Noorjehan lovelocked.😊
