Upto Nov 21st I am also an L&T employee but unfortunately or I don't know layoffs were happened max > 30 employees were fired and the thing is every employee is fresher with an 8months of experience in l&t company....I don't know why they fired the upcoming Talent without giving any oppertunities... .......................... Very good take on this issue. I am a software engineer and to be honest all software engineers mostly work more than 9hours for sure even if company says 9 to 5 but by the time people logout it will be 8 more than 8. Leadership people has to think before making these comments how the person comes before 9 to office and leaves at 5 or whatever from office.Traffic is so much now a days in cities like banglore, hyderabad etc..we have to give 2-3hre per day for travel itself.we barely left with 2hrs or so with family on normal days. I am not saying that someone is bad but they has to think of employees instead of their own benefits. Last thing is that why employees has to work more? did the company give shares or profit with us?they only pay salary to us for what we do and we are doing work for that .I agree to strech one or two times on company requirements but if all the time has to do as mandatory it is better to look for alternatives.

Even though I'm working in a software company, Yes I'm working more than 9 hrs per day but we never feel any stress because top management friendly moves on us. They give free hand to us to generate new techniques in the work, we are lucky to work in such a company where our tradition and culture get value and have a good number of leaves( planned and unplanned leaves). My company is supporting us to balance my personal life too I'm supporting my company to earn more revenue with a good brand .

అందులో తప్పేముంది .. మేము షిప్స్ లో పనిచేస్తున్నాం ,,, ఉదయం 6 నుంచి ఈవెనింగ్ 7 వరకు పని చేస్తాం ... ఒక్కోసారి ఇంజన్ పని దూల తీర్చేస్తుంది 2ఏసీ రోజులు కంటిన్యూ స్ గా దూల తీరిపొద్ది.....

ఎక్స్ట్రా అవర్స్ పనిచేయడానికి ఏమీ అభ్యంతరం లేదు ప్రతి కార్మికుడికి కంపెనీ యొక్క అభ్యున్నతే ముఖ్యం. అయితే extra అవర్స్ కి ఓవర్ టైం ట్రిపుల్లో పే చేయాలి. అప్పుడు పూర్తి క్వాలిటీ వర్క్ చూడగలరు.
