These tomato farmers lack education to prevent losses. The electrical welder should use the unused half inch iron bars fix some small holders on it which they could rest the tomatoes shrubs against them. That could give a very firm support to the tomatoes because it will raise the tomatoes from the ground to avoid spoiling when it rains. The bars could be between four to six feet tall. They can try it. Love this program paa. Many thanks to ADB for supporting it. I will approach them for my poultry farm project. I hope they will not deny me. Ayekoo.

That will be too costly, just ordinary sticks can do that job but I just don't get these farmers, it's laziness

Pls raise the plants from d floor by supporting them with strings, rope or planks. That will prevent d rot . Use d same method as yam. View video on u tube, how is done elsewhere. Welldone !

They’re better off putting cardboard or some other material on the ground next to the plant so it falls on it. Or just making sure the fruits are cleaned after harvesting. What you’re suggesting is ideal but we don’t have the resources to do that. It’s not even feasible on a very large scale outside. And that method is extremely labour intensive otherwise the plant falls and the method becomes useless. Better to adapt than copy

There should be a low against racketeering in ghana .this has been going on for far too long.d traders take advantage of farmers by colluding to frustrate them. l have written against these practices, several times. It is time Nana Ado tackles d issues, once and for all. Or put a stop to it.
