Honestly, I quite like the rebalance to THMGs - although to be fair I never used them myself and was only ever the recipient. They fall behind most relevant titan weapons in terms of damage output, but make up for it with mid-range utility. 600m range with a powerful homing mechanism makes them quite handy support weapons. Honestly, they'd be my pick for weaker titans that cannot risk exposing themselves directly such as Nodens. I have had situations (post-rebalance) where a Newton supporting its teammates provided a steady stream of suppressive fire against my Indra. While the damage per second is low-ish, you still don't want to get shot by them continuously. That Newton, by forcing me away from potential forms of cover, kept me isolated in one part of the map as I fought its teammates. In combination with its Choke, the Newton was able to keep me from playing how I normally would with my Indra, eventually causing me to lose against the titans I was brawling with. The Newton made it difficult to play as aggressive as I'd like, and it made it very difficult to win that match. With a good frontline, map awareness, and ability counting a THMG support titan can slow the game drastically and provide ample opportunity for its teammates to win.

I liked your comment for the effort, but I can't approve of this rebalance despite equally never using them and having no intention to use them until a correct rebalance happened. To remove the acceleration is the most unacceptable part, because that mechanic was part of the weapon's design (the "glowing hot" animation) and is part of what distinguishes MGs in general. The second most unacceptable is that the weapon now never empties, which shows how little they care about even their own work since it may as well have no ammo indicator and no need for the more than a hundred of "ammo capacity" they decided for it at release and still left in place. And lastly, nerfing rate of fire without slowing down the firing animation proportionally also reeks of malicious indifference or incompetence. How would I have nerfed them? Simply a 45% nerf to the damage of each bullet (which is more than the 35% reduction from their fire rate nerf, since I would keep the acceleration), or a 45% nerf to the damage of each bullet and 3-seconds of lock-on time before which the bullets would only fly straight.

I have never even tryed the dazzler weapons. My top pick for Bersagliere is veyrons. With a bow shot or 5 lmao. I can drop a maxed mauler one clip haha. It ls all about timing haha. Awesome video as always brotha 😊

I still use discordia on Eiffel. I’ll sometimes switch to Indra or mauler with anguisher/kraken vajara. But mostly bendy Eiffel 2x onslaught 2x balance.

Interesting. For my part I could have more easily stomached using them when they were OP by simply keeping them at base level to balance it out, rather than the disrespect of this rebalance. A simple 45% direct nerf to the damage of each bullet would have been excellent, unlike their weird habit of beating around the bush, taking away mechanics, ruining their own animation efforts, and making the huge ammo capacity redundant since it never empties.
