In my opinion Rook is the number 1 titan currently despite not having its special edition. It has powerful traits that put him in top of the charts. However Luchador comes in close as being the second best titan in my opinion surpassing Indra after the addition of titan pilots. Luchador has the advantage of having 2 defense slots which lets you put 2x TRA and 2x DC modules, which turn it into a healing fortress. With Rook you can't use this combination. Luchador's frog splash is also more controllable unlike Rook's castling which darts you to an enemy position or certain distance. I still love Luchador more.

Luchador is currently a 1st titan to go to. Nice mobility, you get what you want (a proper tank and brawler). Can be obtained by most of the playerbase. And the main part is that it is currently left alone with no changes to it. at least it doesn't look like he is going to get rebalanced in the near future

I killed 2 Rooks along with 2 other Indras with a single Luchador running 2 repair amps and stellar sonic machine guns. Luchador with a pilot is better than a Rook in my opinion. I can tell that because i have both maxed out.

Rook is pretty strong but remember that it has low defense if the shield is broken hope for the best 🙏. Plus any rocket weapons can easily damage this titan while Luchador still have the highest defense out of others

In my opinion i would choose the luchador bc i like the play style But my fav is the minos The mobility is just greater

The mobility is not greater imo. Like sure, the frog splash is much more controllable, but rook sends you so much further, on top of the fact you start off your dash by hovering into the sky, with plenty of time to choose your destination. As an added bonus, if you target an enemy above your rook with castling, you can actually make yourself go so much further due to the rook wanting to shoot up instead of downwards.

I don't have the Rook yet. But I found a way to destroy the Rook never fight the Rook in one on one, Luchador can't win against Rook, unless the level and modules are not in max yet it will be easily destroyed. I find ways to kill Rook and I just make the right to destroy it.

Okay, I understand that I wanted titans to feel like a titan and should be able to be 1v1-ed by titans or taken out by a group of bots. Rook does it, but it is a bit exsessive.There is a lot of energy weapons in the game, making him rather impervious to the damage even for titans. The weapon for robots that are capable to deal with shields is low, or weapons have tunnel damage (like Tempest or Avenger, but these are low tier and so reliable). New weapons are pay-walled and quite common Jaw, claw, talons arre getting killed. And pilots are making it ... worse who could have thought. It is really an odd way to give out assets that shouldn't have had pilots a buff in a face pilots that cost two premium currencies at once

Altough the Rook is more Powerfull initally, I feel like a well played Lucha will come out on top. Its healing Power is just insane, with the 2x DC. They basiclly let you take 32% less damage from Sonics, due to it being healable. Had a Match earlier with TRA at Max Stacks and me being at 1.3Mil health with 7 Motherships. Once you are charged up there is not really that much that can kill you. Esppecially with all 3 healing skills. I have not tried the Rook yet, I will wait for its Pilot to become avilable and then Max it. But for now the Lucha my Number 1. Nessa will most likely shift that tho. On that note I cant wait for a Lucha Pilot. ^^

This os NOT the best modules combination for Luchador. It was the first combination tested by most youtubers, it makes sense, its easy to use.. but you wont see any hardcore Lucha players using it anymore, tho all of them used it at some point. If you only use Lucha, day after day, you will end up with 2RA-1DC-1OR. You will get the same high damage scores, with more kills and REAL damage. Specially after Titan Pilots, you can now beef up more durability without wasting the module slot. Its mandatory to have your RAs reaching level 60 in most battles and you need enough HP for that, so 1 DC is essential and helps a bit with grey damage. But not taking advantage and boosting the huge damage of sonic weapons is just dumb, it saves your life and prevents you from losing your titan while recharging evora/veyron many times. Play 200 battles with both combos, backtest it and thank me later. Great content nonetheless

I used two RA and two DC as well on mine for a long time. If you can get the repair amplifier up paired with the not losing as much grey health. You titan heals for fast and stays up for so long. Just switched on DC for a anti control to see how that works. Really annoying getting locked down constantly.

i dont know why the rook was played so badly as well. You shouldn’t just trade shoots with a luchador head on you should let the luchador empty its clip on its rear and side shields then attack while they are reloading. You also shouldn’t just look at the luchador while you are realoading and the luchador is not
