Thank you for this video. Do you have any content about visitor visas for transiting. I just learned that the UK now requires a Visitor Visa for both airside and transiting (under less than 48 hours). My fiance has a connecting flight in the UK from Nigerian and we want to ensure he won't be denied. Thank you

If in case, person didn't mentioned refusal history for Europe in form. I heard only five countries are sharing data with UK. Europe is not in the list.

I need also to ask if you are employed and your employee sponsor you with all expenses, do they need bank statement, on that case you are not employed in your country to produce bank statements.

What about someone who has a sponsor in the UK? I do not meet financial requirements but I have a sponsor (family member) who is willing to cover all costs?

Even if they’re willing to cover all costs you still need to show you have some money (it can be savings too) being 100% reliant on someone does not look good and will lead to higher chance of rejection. Even if you’re contributing a bit that’s fine, I’ve seen people be approved when they have little money. They just showed strong ties to country so in someone case they mentioned they had children at home and showed their school letters and stuff. On your application form they ask you how much your trip will cost. Be realistic. Don’t just any big number to impress them because it won’t. So many people think having thousands of pounds in their bank account will count. It doesn’t. It just looks suspicious if all that money was bulk transferred . I’m assuming your sponsor wants to provide accommodation for you? If so then you don’t need to include that in your costs. Things you’d include are flight expenses and maintenance costs. Which would roughly be £400-1000+ depending on how long you stay for and where you’re coming from etc. You also need to show reasons you will go back to your country. I really recommend writing a cover letter explaining yourself and what ties you to your home country. If you are unemployed then it is fine, you just need to build your case and show strong personal reasons and yes having a sponsor in this case would be good too. An invitation letter is strongly recommended. Be sure that your sponsor states how they know you (the officers stupidly reject people if you don’t mention it, they really scrutinise everything) . If you have family in your home country then mention this. If you have family in uk then this could be hard cuz they might think you wanna stay with your family permanently. You really need to show that you have strong reasons to go back e.g. dependents at home, studies, work, property in your name etc. All visa applications are personal to you.

@@Ameka43 what if I am going to visit my boyfriend someone I met on line for the first time and he is the one sponsoring my trip like paying for my return flight ticket and accommodate me at his house or hotel yet I also have a bit of savings in my account. I have a job in my home country and I ll just get leave for 10 days and I also have children that I ll leave with my nanny while am away for those 10 days.

I recently was refused visit visa on grounds that I didn't convinced them I had a genuine relationship with my sponsor.I was invited over for a royal navy recruitment and my sponsor who is a family friend provided all evidence of sponsorship but on our evidence of relationship we provided some text messages we shared together but my visa was rejected on grounds of not enough proofs of genuine relationship.How do I fix this and reapply?

@@gordonhope did you get your visa? I also got an invitation letter from the Royal Navy but my visit visa was rejected because I did not have financial ties to my country. Even though my sponsor is capable of paying for everything.

What if it’s coming from a third party? I want to invite someone. I’m assuming that I can show my pay slips and bank statements with about £6k savings, should be fine? Also must I write an invitation letter?

I was refused saying my bank account is inactive, I don't have sufficient amount for my trip...how is that possible, I receive my monthly salary from that same bank...I provided my payslips and my regular six months bank statements...I want to reapply, how do I go on my next application?

Hello, thank you for the video. It is very informative. I am from Nigeria and just made an application for UK short visa stay to attend a conference between 19 and 20 September at SOAS. I included my previous immigration history in Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Niger and Germany but forgot that of Russia which eluded me as it happened over 3 decades ago. I only remembered it few minutes after I had submitted the application online whose fee was extremely difficult to pay due to foreign currency restriction by the Nigerian government; someone had to pay for it from abroad. Although I submitted all the necessary documents including invitation letter from SOAS, introduction letter from University of Nigeria where I am doing a PhD program since 2019, sponsor's bank statement and my savings and Domiciliary account statements. Do you think I stand the chance of still being granted the visa inspite of the non-inclusion of my Russian migration history or is there any means to relay the history to the UK High Commission? Hi sir i had applied for uk visiting visa standard visa my wife and child mine is total rental business i get rents in my bank account i had put all supporting documents of rental agreements I dint put my itr return document becoz it does match to rental income and itr return I had put 3 months bank statement showing bank balance of 10 lakhs Is itr return mandatory and 3 months bank statement enough ?? I had travel history travelled to uk for study purpose from 2009 to 2011 and came back home town on time What are the chances of getting visa approval Does my visa will gett rejected

Hello I applied for a Visitor Visa sponsored by my fiance. I got done with my biomatrics on 20th December after that I got a mail on 22nd January stated that my Visa application is under consideration.
