I used to walk every week along the canal towpath from Highbridge Road to 41a Walton Street to buy the Dandy, Beano and Film Fun in the 1940's. I really enjoy these walks having left Aylesbury in the 1950's and my last visit was in 2019. Could I suggest a walk around Queens Park where I went to school in the 1940's.My great grandfather built some of the houses including the one in Highbridge Road (1908) where I was born.
