Happy to do it! If you want to help, do you mind sharing 2 or 3 games from each system that you consider to be the hardest to emulate? It helps me assemble a good collection of stuff to test and then I can get the video out faster.

Need for Speed Most Wanted for PS2 and Gamecube is especially hard to emulate during races with multiple racers, even the Steam Deck struggles with this game in the upper 40 fps.

It's amazing to me that in 2023 we're just now smoothly (mostly) emulating GC, PS2, Wii games etc on handhelds. It's a testiment to technology going backwards, but advancing at the same time. We're excited that we can play GC smoothly on a portable handheld 20ish years after it originally came out on a console with far inferior specs. Ha. Kind of weird.

I definitely hope to do that. Although, from early testing you definitely won't need to utilize the same level of tweaking as you did the RP3+. Setting up everything from the Dreamcast back should be a breeze! It'll be fun seeing how much or little you need to know for PS2 and forward though. The Odin2 also doesn't include any emulators so I may need to focus a bit more on basic setup as well. Anyway, I'll definitely be doing that but with work it may take a little bit. Hopefully it'll be ready by the time most people start receiving them!

About PS2 emulation, can you test Xenosaga ? Even just the combat tutorial at the beginning of episode 1, at 1080p or above? It slows down on so many devices, as Shadow of the Colossus does. Thank you 😊

@@MjolnirStone i have only tried episode 1 so far, and it was difficult to emulate on many devices (slowdowns in the combat tutorial, radar at the bottom right of the display showing only a cursor, ...), but i'd appreciate to see any episode tested (any combat sequence). Thank you :)

When you do Switch emulation, can you test the Switch ports of Dark Souls 1 and Skyrim, and if they don't work can you tell us? I've been watching the other Odin 2 review videos and everyone mostly reviews the Zelda, Mario, and indie games.

Great video, Sir! Could you test Winlator? There's a video where they have Cyberpunk 2077 running with like 16 fps on this chip... that should mean that A LOT of aaa pc games from three or four years ago and older will run no problem on this device. Think about the number of great games to be available! 😍 I'd really love to play my GOG library on the Max I'm hoping to welcome soon.

Could you run some games you are incredibly familiar with? I dont notice input lag on my rg505 but im curious with the odin 2 since russ's review. Also, madworld or some wii games where people have controller profiles set up online would be neat for more people to see.
