@@itscool95 his change of direction isn’t downhill. His dribble isn’t tight. Against NBA defenders it will probably get exposed. These guys are undersized, which covers up his mishandles. NBA defenders will get charge calls on him as it takes him way too much effort to gather...You can’t tell me his handle is as good as the better half of guards..Coby 2.0 boi

@Culley913 жыл бұрын
Honestly there’s so much talent in this years draft I see why a lot of talented guys are going late first round…..
@schuylersavage2763 жыл бұрын
@@Culley91 agreed. This draft obviously has a lot of the prototypical young potential studs at the top. But it is also very very very very deep with talented guards who spent more than one year in college who already have more polished games than most of the guys at the top who are super young. I think we are going to see a lot of guys who fall a little bit due to their age end up being aweosme in the pros very early. Nah’Shon, Miles, Ayo, Mitchell, Bourknight...etc etc etc. I believe all of them played at least 2 years in college. I understand why NBA execs prefer to draft younger and younger, but I don’t get why so many of them are so obsessed with stereotypes and aren’t able to actually use their eyes and basketball minds to decide if perhaps it’s a good idea to go against the grain soemtiems. Honestly it blows my mind how bad some teams appear to be at drafting. It’s like they have zero ability to think for themselves. I also don’t get why more teams don’t focus on mental evaluation. To me that is what always seems to determine if a draft pick becomes something or not. Have we seen a single first round pick who is considered to have a very good mental makeup totally bust? And on the flip side, it seems like all of the first round picks who flop have some form of immaturity or lack of dedication or, no offense, lack of intelligence. And this has NOTHING to do with where the players grow up or their skin color or anything like that. Think of Jaylen Brown. It was always super clear to me ever since his 2nd year that he was going to become a star because we knew how intelligent he was since the moment he was drafted and that’s all anyone could talk about. Some teams even said they felt he was too smart to draft. Lol wtf? But Jaylen is a great example of how intelligence is often synonymous with the ability to vastly improve in weaker areas with the right teaching. Jaylen couldn’t shoot. His game wasn’t refined at all. Look at him now. Honestly he seems to be in the 99th percentile in terms of ability to improve specific weaknesses in a players game. That is not as easy as some make it out to be.
