The video is great, but you got the dry and the wet seasons mixed up, it's exactly the other way around: November to April is the best time to visit. "February and March there are often storms" - that's absolutely wrong! :)

Hi. Your video states that Wet Season is mid December onwards and that the best time to visit is during the Dry Season from May to November. This information is completely incorrect. The best weather is from January to the end of April (when prices are also highest). Low Season is May to October when the likelihood of rain is highest and consequently prices are lower.

@AyoWorld2 жыл бұрын
If you visit in June, be prepared for regular and heavy rainshowers. As long as this doesn't bother you it will still be a beautiful experience, but if you want to enjoy the sun all day long you should visit during the dry season between mid-December and mid-April.

1. Nowadays, these charts don't make sense because of climate changes. For example, in Jun it can be sunny almost every day. In late Dec - raining (like it was in Dec 2020) 2. Plug adapters are provided in the hotels for free. 3. Male is expensive. If you go not to souvenir shops, you've got the same price as locals/expats (as a former expat I can say it's a fact). In general, there is nothing to do in Male. Fish market, museum, grand mosque, sultan palace. You can pay by USD literally everywhere, in the market or shop - no matter what. ATM charges you for every withdrawal of around 10 USD. It's better to change cash. There is a place on souvenir street with WU board. They provide the best exchange course. There are Singapurian/Philippines, Thai, Indian, Japanese and Chinese Restaurants in Male as well. 4. Other things to do in the Maldives are sandbank/uninhabited island day visit; snorkeling with a lot of Mantas in Hanifaru Bay, Baa Atoll (May-Dec); snorkeling with whale sharks in South Ari Atoll, overnight staying on an uninhabited island (absolutely unique experience, you will be alone there); visiting an underwater restaurant, going to night fishing; sail by sailing catamaran. 5. If you want to see the most of Maldives - go for 7 nights by luxury yacht across the Maldives. For more info, visit islandii.com

The Maldives islands are one of the few places on earth that everyone hopes to experience in their lifetime-The Maldive Islands boast of a vibrant and diverse ecosystem that is comprised of 21 dolphin and whale species, 400 molluscs species, 83 echinoderm species and an incredible 1,100 fish species. The country is also globally known for its vast coral colonies with a pulsating undersea life that attracts tourists from far and wide.
