I don't understand why Ayreon hasn't become more popular. with almost 80 amazing singer contributions over the course of 9 albums you'd think more people would catch on. but at the same time I'm thankful because it keeps Ayreon pure.
@sevensevensportsbagjump75256 жыл бұрын
My opinion is this is due to the multiple platforms that musicians must publish which diversifies audiences ; thatban the fact that people gravitate singles instead of albums and are so spoikled for choice :-)

It is very rare nowadays for music to be commercially very successful if it has actual content. Success in the music industry is now determined by the large mass of the listeners who literally do not have any preferences. This causes the blandest and most boring music to be successful. Ayreon is anything but bland and boring. All the monumental features and moments you like about Ayreon, but also the subtle details, are all going be offensive and too prominent for many of the "consumer listeners". Ayreon makes you notice things and think, and that's a big no no for commercial success today.

[Bob Catley:] Eu ainda sinto as crescentes marés me abraçando Me carregando a um lugar desconhecido Somente uma memória... Lyrics in italiano: [1.
