Ayrton Senna aboard Williams Renault FW16

Après avoir quitté McLaren en 1993, Ayrton Senna rejoint l'écurie la plus prestigieuse, la Williams Renault FW16 et réalise des séances d'essais privés avec son nouveau coéquipier Damon Hill et qui lui garantissent un éventuel quatrième titre mondial mais Senna arrive dans un contexte où la Fédération Internationale des Les automobiles avaient changé la réglementation, donc elle a supprimé l'antipatinage, l'assistance à la conduite et la suspension active qui rendaient ces voitures plus difficiles à conduire et qui se révéleraient par la suite tragiques et qui se rendra vite compte que l'équipe est beaucoup moins tendre avec ses pilotes et qu'il savait qu'il ne retrouverait pas la même ambiance qu'il avait connue chez McLaren.
