It's good against every killer, even Nurses, Weskers or projectile killers who tend to not break any pallets or just bloodlust 3 everything so it's more useful imo tho Alert has the potential to function as a global Windows perk too since you see where pallets are gone. Also Troubleshooter incentivizes predropping pallets which is essentially better for both sides in long terms, cos it makes the game progress faster. It's just shame it came with MFT and that overshadows it, it would've been nicer if it came instead of one of Thalita's or Renato's very niche perks.

Is there like a new subtle hack killers are using to gain instant bloodlust or something? With the Oni at 7:45 he suddenly got very fast right after breaking a pallet and even Aayrun was shocked he caught up. I've had this happen numerous times the last week and it confuses the hell out of me, killers just suddenly catch up SO fast, even after breaking pallets.

Troubleshooter could go well with Any Means Necessary. Drop pallet, see if you can leave loop so killer is less likely to break it (especially if it's a weak loop). Then reset later.

The only problem is that 90% of pallet loops you can see over, and the few you can’t usually don’t give you any use because they just instabreak the pallet. Honestly they should have made it so while in chase you could see the killer if they where within 4 meters of an undropped pallet, not a dropped one, which would incentivize looping instead of just camping pallets

Another good perked that runs well with troubleshooter is Victorio's quick Gambit then you could see with troubleshooter the gens that are being worked on and with quick Gambit you can get closer to them giving them to speed boost

You do NOT want to bring the killer to the gen that is being repaired. Like, ever. The speed boost to Gen repair isn't worth it. Quick gambit just sucks

They could easily double the amount of time you get aura reading with that perk without it causing any serious problems. You have to throw pallets to enable it so you're pretty limited in how much you can abuse it already. Maybe then it would see more play.
